This morning the first manuscript for the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology special issue on Communication, Swallowing and the Sustainable Development Goals has just arrived. Prof Julie Marshall (Manchester Metropolitan University) and I excited to bring this important topic to light through these papers. I met with the IJSLP editors Prof Elizabeth Cardell and A/Prof Natalie Munro last Friday afternoon, so we are all ready to begin the reviewing phase.
