Cancer graduation

I just graduated from my 8 year cancer journey. Thank you Prof Fran Boyle, Prof Andrew Spillane, Prof Gillian Lamoray, my wonderful family and friends. I'm so glad to be alive.

Presenting virtually at two conferences this week

There are two wonderful speech-language pathology conferences being held this week and I am virtually attending both of them and physically attending neither of them due to health issues.

  1. Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) National Conference being held in Melbourne, Australia
  2. European Congress of Speech and Language Therapy (ESLA) being held in Salzburg, Austria.

I am so glad I can follow along on Twitter.

Back to work full time

Today marks the end of my first week of working full time since I went on sick leave in July 2018. I have worked part time in between medical treatments over the past year. It has been a long journey and I am very grateful to my magnificent family, friends, colleagues, and the medical team who have supported me on the road to recovery. I look forward to getting back to full steam ahead as a Charles Sturt University Senior Research Fellow.
