A colourful time of year

It is autumn (fall) at The Treehouse. This evening a king parrot was looking stunning amongst the autumn leaves.

Colourful Brazil

After the FORL congress, Prof Yvonne Wren and I visited Iguazu Falls (Foz do Iguaçu) in Brazil and Argentina. Wow! What an amazing weekend. The birds, butterflies, waterfalls and rainbows were extraordinarily colourful and brought us lots of joy.

The birds were in the Parque das Aves (Birds Park in Foz do Iguaçu), and the numerous colourful butterflies and coati were at the Falls.

Enjoying Biripai land during NAIDOC week

I have been enjoying Biripai land during NAIDOC week while I have been on holidays with my family and friends. Our holiday home was visited by a friendly koala (we called him Steve) and some feisty lorikeets (we called this one Bruce).
