I have been invited to be a member of the Charles Sturt University Bathurst Campus Master Plan – Working Group
"Comprised of a range of stakeholders representing a wide array of divisions, faculties and institutes based in Bathurst which can speak to the strategic needs and directions of their unit. The purpose of meeting with this group will be to gather stakeholder input on the campus and developing master plan. It is proposed to meet at several touchpoints throughout the project in workshop-style sessions."
We met today for the first time and discussed the campus as a place for research, education, community, and culture.

Children on campus - Scoping review + preparing for ethics

Today we had two meetings to advance our work about children on campus.

This morning, our review team (Carolyn Gregoric, Suzanne Hopf, Claudio Dionigi and I) worked on the discussion of our paper that includes a scoping review of international literature and rapid review of Austrailan university policies and guidance documents.

This afternoon, our broader group met to discuss writing the ethics application for undertaking research to co-create The Treehouse (virtual and physical) and include children as research participants in our new Children's Voices Centre.

Children on campus: Policy and literature review

Our review of policies, procedures and literature about children on university campuses continued today. It is great working with Carolyn Gregoric, Suzanne Hopf and Claudio Dionigi to develop our background understanding of children on campus and how we can use this knowledge to inform the creation of The Treehouse and our space for children's communication and research.

Children on campus - ECIR rapid review

Today we worked on our rapid review to consider how children are included (or not) on university campuses. Claudio Dionigi has undertaken the literature search and first phase of inclusion/exclusion. Carolyn and Suzanne are going to undertake the next phase of inclusion/exclusion coding, then I will work on pulling it together. This will inform our co-design of The Treehouse for the International Children's Communication and Research Centre.
