In the next few months The Oxford Handbook of Speech Development in Languages of the World is due to Oxford University Press. This huge project (~80 chapters) has taken a very long time. I am loving reviewing the authors' chapters and meeting with some of the authors as they finalise their chapters. This evening I met with Diana Tomic from Croatia who is finalising her chapter on Croatian Speech Development. It is exciting that this will be one of the first publications in the world to summarize Croatian speech development.
