The many endings of a PhD

Sarah Verdon is almost ready to submit her PhD. She met with her supervisory team last week to finalise the overall exegesis and the last of nine journal articles that she will submit as a part of her thesis.

Submission of a PhD is only the beginning of the end. Here are some more phases: Receiving and responding to the examiners' reports. Submission of the revised thesis. Receipt of the letter to say the revisions have been accepted. Graduation. Calling yourself Dr! Best wishes Sarah for the end(s) of your PhD.
